Our Role in Colorado's Quality Systems
Colorado Shines Rating Support
As a key partner in the statewide QRIS, we conduct official ERS observations, review documentation, and provide essential support for programs seeking a Colorado Shines Level 3-5 rating.
ERS State Anchors
We serve as Colorado’s official ERS State Anchors. In this role, we conduct Inter-Rater Reliability (IRR) checks and provide training and support to all Colorado Shines assessors, ensuring rating consistency statewide. Additionally, as ERS State Anchors we provide resources to the community related to the Environment Rating Scales, including Colorado ERS Notes for Clarification and Ask-An-Anchor sessions.
Denver Preschool Program Partner
We provide specialized coaching and training for programs participating in the Denver Preschool Program, delivering over 3,300 hours of coaching and 120 hours of training each school year.
